When to see a children’s chest specialist
- A cough that has lasted more than four weeks
- Wheeze that keeps coming back, especially with colds
- Asthma that is not controlled despite regular inhalers
- Loud snoring, pauses in breathing or restless sleep
- Frequent chest infections or time off nursery or school
- A diagnosis you would like confirmed, or a second opinion

A clear plan
You leave with a diagnosis or next steps and a written plan. A letter goes to you and your GP.
